New Limited Edition Print - Jerry Hall, Jamaica, Vogue, 1975
03 July 2015
The Norman Parkinson Archive is excited to annouce the release of our newest limited edition print, "Jerry Hall, Jamaica, Vogue, 1975".
One of Parkinson’s most iconic images, "Jerry Hall, Jamaica, Vogue, 1975" features Jerry Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Jerry’s all-blue attire reflects the sparkling blue waters of Montego Bay, described by Vogue as “Jamaica Blue”. Jerry wears a swimsuit by Wiki, a bathing cap by Britmarine, and lies on a blue shadow towel from the Countess range at Harrods. The photograph was used as the cover of British Vogue, May 1975, Jerry Hall’s first ever British Vogue cover. Norman Parkinson and Jerry Hall were accompanied by Grace Coddington as Fashion Editor and Jerry’s friend, the fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez.
The release of this new limited edition print coincides with our collaboration with leading make-up artist, Charlotte Tilbury, who has featured the photograph on her Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson collection of beauty products.
